Allefra is a beautiful Berber style rug in a signature Berber color scheme of natural New Zealand wool with slight distressed variations and a simple looped diamond pattern in contrasting black brown. Designed in-house as part of the exclusive Miss Amara Collection, the Allefra rug is a very traditional style Berber rug, crafted using a beautiful blend of natural cotton and New Zealand wool for an impossibly luxurious, dense pile of super soft fibers that are a dream underfoot.
Completing the design, the rug has been finished with beautiful hand knotted tassels and wool washed for a softer, relaxed finish that will instantly look at home in it’s setting.
Exploding in popularity in the mid-century design movement, Berber rugs have cemented themselves as a design icon and staple of refined luxury. To this day, they are crafted using the same time-intensive hand knot technique used by the Beni Ouarin tribe of Morocco for more than 1,000 years.

The size may also vary up to 5% in length and width due to natural variations in materials.
Natural shedding can be expected and this is normal. New wool rugs will shed lightly in the first few months and will be low-shed after this time. The shedding will lessen after the first 3-6 months depending on the level of use.
